Why should I Tandem Skydive?
You will never forget a Tandem Skydive with Skydive Geronimo! Nothing compares to the thrill of jumping from a perfectly good airplane.
By choosing to Tandem Skydive, you can experience the ultimate rush of free fall, without the same level of training and responsibility that comes with having to learn to jump solo.
So many of our customers tell us that skydiving is the best thing they have ever done in their lives. For some it’s the overwhelming sense of achievement of doing something outside of their comfort zone, and for others it’s the huge adrenalin rush of plummeting toward the earth at 200km/hour.
Give it a go! You will be on a natural high for weeks afterwards!
Do I need to have any experience?
No experience is needed, so you can just let your qualified tandem instructor take care of everything. All you need to do is enjoy the ride!
What do I need to wear?
Please ensure you are wearing appropriate footwear. Shoes must be enclosed and have no heel. It is also a good idea to dress warmly during winter.
How high should I go?
There is no doubt that your free fall will be the most thrilling part of your skydive experience. A 10,000ft skydive gives you 30 seconds of free fall, a 14,000ft skydive gives you 60 seconds of free fall, and a 15,000ft skydive gives you the ULTIMATE THRILL! 66 seconds of free fall.
Is there a weight limit?
For safety reasons, we have a weight limit of 95kg’s for all tandem skydiving passengers. In some cases, we may be able to take passengers heavier than this limit, please call 1300 449 669 or Contact Us for further clarification.
Is there an age limit?
Currently the legal age limit for skydiving in Australia is 12 years. Passengers under the age of 18 years will need parental or guardian consent.
There is no upper age limit, so long as you are fit and healthy, you can jump. We have taken skydiving passengers in their 80’s!
Can I bring my own camera?
It is against skydiving regulations in Australia for tandem skydive passengers to wear a camera during the jump. For this reason, it’s not possible to film your own skydive experience.
Don’t worry! The Skydive Geronimo Team have got you covered…
You can add a Handcam Video and Photos package to your skydive booking on jump day (there is no need to pre-book this.)
Can I jump solo?
Yes you can! Skydive Geronimo runs monthly solo jump courses so you can learn to Skydive on your own. See our Learn to Skydive page for more information.
It is only possible to learn to skydive in Busselton, not on Rottnest Island.
Where are you located?
