Meet the Operations Team

Sam (Siv) - Head Pilot
Sam gets to enjoy one of the best offices in the world, the skies above Rottnest Island! With his unique perspective from the cockpit, he loves watching the island’s wildlife, spotting whales in winter, and seeing parachutes float down after a beautiful flight. His advice for first-time jumpers? Keep your eyes open and take in the incredible view.

Stephan - Dropzone Safety Officer & Tandem Instructor
With 40 years in skydiving and over 21,500 jumps, Stephan has lived a true skydiving adventure around the world. From helicopter jumps beside glaciers to flying over the Great Barrier Reef, he has experienced some of the most incredible moments the sport has to offer. His advice for first-time jumpers is simple: trust your instructor, enjoy the views, and don’t overthink it, because after landing, you’ll want to jump again.

Caue - Dropzone Safety Officer & Tandem Instructor
With 14 years in skydiving, Caue loves being part of a moment people will remember for the rest of their lives. He enjoys the freedom of freefall and the incredible views from his “office” above Rottnest Island, especially spotting whales, dolphins, sharks, and stingrays from above. His advice is to trust your instructor, keep your chin up, breathe, and enjoy the incredible view below.

Thom — Dropzone Safety Officer & Tandem Master
With 12 years in skydiving, Thom loves being part of the big beautiful sky and sharing the incredible experience of flight with others. His favourite part of the sport is flying under canopy and spotting dolphins below because “dolphins are magic.” One of his most memorable jumps was exiting a helicopter while his mum was riding inside, giving her a wave from the skid before taking the leap. His advice for first-time jumpers is simple: blow your nose first, take a breath, and look around and see how beautiful everything is.

Vinny — Tandem Master
With 9 years in skydiving, Vinny loves being part of people’s happiest moments. He especially enjoys sharing the sky with friends and creating memories that are completely unique to each jump. His advice for first-time skydivers is to embrace every feeling. If your nervous, excited, or unsure, embrace it all because they’re all part of the journey.

Darcy — Tandem Master
With 21 years in skydiving and over 19,000 skydives under his belt, Darcy loves sharing the experience with others and being part of someone’s first leap into the sky. From competition swooping to tandem instructing, he brings a wealth of experience and reassuring guidance to every skydive. His approach is simple: trust the process, listen to your instructor, and enjoy the ride.

Michelle — Outside Camera Flyer & Parachute Packer
With 13 years in skydiving, Michelle loves the thrill of the sport and the energy that comes from sharing the sky with big groups. Whether she’s capturing incredible moments as an outside camera flyer or swooping her canopy across Little Salmon Bay, she’s always chasing the next adventure. Her advice? Slow down, enjoy the journey, and the people around you, because skydiving is a community like no other.

Pip loves the people, the island, and the incredible crew that makes every day at Skydive Geronimo special. From meeting customers from all over the world to flying over Rottnest and keeping an eye out for whales, dolphins, and marine life, she knows how lucky she is to call the island her workplace. Her advice for nervous jumpers is simple: smile, have fun, and trust that the feeling after the jump is worth it.

Fiona — Video Editor
Fiona loves being able to edit and share the memories of a once-in-a-lifetime experience for every customer. With a creative eye and a passion for storytelling, she brings the excitement of skydiving to life through the videos that let jumpers relive their experience long after they land. Her favourite moments are seeing the smiles and reactions of customers in freefall and watching their journey all the way to the beach landing. Her advice for first-time jumpers is simple: breathe, bring big smiles, look at the camera, and enjoy the ride. ‘You’re in good hands!’.
