Before the Day
Have you made your booking yet? If not, then book online or contact us today. Our availability is limited, so we recommend booking in advance, if possible.
How will you get to Rottnest? Our meeting place is at the Rottnest Island Airport, so you will need to make arrangements to travel to the island for the jump. Did you book a Skydive and Ferry Package or a Skydive and Flight Transfer Package? Then you’re already sorted!
How much do you weigh? All passengers over 95kgs are on a case-by-case basis and must be pre-approved. If this is you, then please contact us for pre-approval to jump.
Do you have a medical condition or limited mobility? Passengers with a heart-condition, epilepsy or suffering from seizures are unable to skydive. Passengers who are taking medications which impair reaction time or judgement are also not permitted to jump. Do you have any other medical condition which might make skydiving unsafe? This might include (but is not limited to) a lack of mobility, recent fracture, joint which dislocates easily or previous knee reconstruction. If yes, please contact us to discuss this in advance, to avoid the disappointment of refusal on the day.
On the Day: Before you jump
Get excited! You are about to have the experience of a lifetime, so prepare for a great day out (yes, it’s OK to eat breakfast before the jump!)
Dress to impress (the quokkas!) You can skydive in almost any clothing that you’re comfortable in, just remember your warmer clothing on cold days. Check out this blog post on the topic. Enclosed shoes with a flat sole (like sneakers) are essential.
Call for your weather check. This one is very important. Please call us on the morning of your skydive on 1300 449 669, one hour before getting on your ferry to the island. Your jump is weather dependent, so we would like to discuss the weather conditions with you early in the morning. Are you spending the night before your jump on Rottnest Island? Lucky you! Please call for your weather check, one hour before your skydive appointment time.
Travel to Rottnest. Once you know the weather is OK for skydiving, it’s time to start making your way to the island.

On the Day: Your skydive experience
Make your way to the Rottnest Island Airport. The Airport is located about 800 metres from the ferry arrivals jetty. You and can walk (approx. 15 minutes), ride a bike (approx. 8 minutes), or catch an Island Shuttle Bus (fees apply). You can download the latest version of the Island Guide for a comprehensive map and bus timetable, or just use Google Maps.
Non-Skydiving Spectators. Got friends and family wanting to watch your parachute landing? We recommend that they travel with you to the airport, so we can make arrangements to transfer them to the beach landing area (subject to availability).
Meet the Geronimo Team. Your skydive appointment time is your meeting time at the Rottnest Island Airport (there is no need to arrive any earlier than this). We will go through some paperwork, gear you up in your harness and go through a short safety briefing. Then it’s time to go!
Skydive! This is the part you’ve been waiting for! Tandem skydiving with your experienced skydive instructor over spectacular Rottnest Island, Western Australia. Your parachute will land in a pre-determined beach landing area, with your friends and family eagerly waiting to give you a high-five. Make sure to choose one of our famous video and photo packages so you can capture all those amazing memories.
On the Day: After your jump
Return Transfer. After your experience is complete, we will return your group back to the airport to collect your belongings and continue with your great day out on Rottnest Island.
Video and photos. Did you opt for one of our video and photo packages? Your photos will be shared with you by email, within only a couple of hours of your jump. Your video will take up to 7 business days to process and will also be shared with you by email.
