Skydiving Experience

Your tandem skydiving experience begins with a 15-minute flight over Rottnest Island in Western Australia, with spectacular views of the coastline and Perth city from high altitude.

With an experienced and qualified tandem skydiving instructor by your side, you will jump from the plane towards the ground at 200 km/h. Feel the adrenaline rush as you spread your wings and ‘fly’ over the island!

10,000 feet (about 3 kilometers) = 30 seconds of free fall

15,000 feet (about 4.5 kilometers) = 66 seconds of free fall

At 5,000 feet (about 1.5 kilometers), your tandem skydiving instructor will deploy your main parachute, and the world below will slowly close in. You will then enjoy a five-minute ride under the parachute before safely landing on the beach.

Trip to Rottnest Island

Since the gathering place is Rottnest Island Airport, you will need to prepare for your trip to the island if you want to go skydiving. The most convenient way to get to Rottnest Island is by ferry. You can book a skydiving and ferry package with us or book your ferry tickets directly with one of the following companies.

If you are skydiving over Rottnest Island, we recommend adding a video and photo package to your booking!
Our team will capture the entire skydiving experience, including preparation, flying to a certain altitude, freefall, parachute ride and beach landing. This package is a great way to share your experience with friends and family.

Your skydive video and photos will be emailed to you for download and online sharing! Photos will be sent on the same day as your skydive booking. Videos will be sent within 7 business days of your skydive booking.

You are not allowed to bring your own camera equipment or cell phone during your skydiving experience.

Language Translation

On the day of your skydive, you will be required to sign some paperwork and receive a safety briefing. All of our team members speak English only, but we will assist you by providing health and safety information and waivers translated into your preferred language.

We regularly receive many non-English speaking customers and if you have any concerns or questions about skydiving, please feel free to ask us anything. We use online translation services (e.g. Google Translate) to answer all important questions.

Check the weather  – ( IMPORTANT !)

As skydiving
is a weather dependent activity, you must call us the morning of your skydive to reconfirm your booking. If you are taking a day trip to the island, please call us on +61 8 9417 8158 one hour before
your ferry departure to check the weather for skydiving. 

In the unfortunate event of bad weather, you can reschedule your trip for another day or receive a refund of your deposit. If you purchased your own ferry ticket for your island trip, there is no refund for that ferry ticket (if Skydive Geronimo booked the ferry ticket for you).

Health and Safety

For your safety, weight restrictions apply. All passengers over 95kg must be pre-approved by our safety team. If you are over 95kg, please contact us for pre-approval for skydiving and provide your height (cm) and weight (kg) skydive@skydivegeronimo.com.au.

Passengers with heart disease, epilepsy or a risk of seizures are not permitted to skydive.

The minimum legal age to skydive in Australia is 16. Passengers under 18 years of age require parental or guardian consent. This means that the participant’s legal guardian must be present on the day of the booking and sign the paperwork.

On the day of your skydive, be sure to wear flat-soled shoes that cover your entire foot .

A secure credit card deposit of AUD$100 per person is required at the time of booking. Final payment is due on the day of the skydive and can be paid by credit card or cash. We look forward to welcoming you on Rottnest Island for an unforgettable tandem skydive experience!
