What makes Skydive Geronimo’s video and photo packages the best on the market?

To say we pride ourselves on producing the best video and photos on the market would be an understatement. In fact, we live for it! The Geronimo Rottnest team are constantly researching and updating our equipment, looking at different angles, training the Instructors and consciously working to improve the videos and photos we produce.

But it’s what we don’t do that makes all the difference…

Unlike our competitors, who require their Instructors to supply their own (often out-dated) camera equipment… we supply all Geronimo Instructors with the latest model cameras, so you know you’re getting the best result. Of course, this would all be pointless if we were to just drop a standard set of clips into automatic editing software, so… we don’t do that either! Instead, there is a real person looking over your skydive footage and editing each and every video we produce. This means that your skydive video will be EPIC, unique to you and perfect for spicing up your Instagram profile.

Finally, if your video and photos don’t turn out as planned, we don’t simply send you home with an apology. Instead, we take you for another skydive to get the shots we need. Please read our Video and Photo Policy for more information.

I skydived this week with my whole fam who are visiting from the UK and we had a phenominal time! The 5 of us vary in age and weight so we got in contact about pre-aproval and they were easy to talk too and handled everything quickly. Once booked their communication was great and we had all forms completed before we arrived. Arrival was easy, the briefing was simple and they let you know everything that'll happen so you're prepared. The instructors then came in and had a chat with us so we knew them before you spend the plane ride on their laps 😅 All 5 of us said our instructors were lovely, friendly and clearly enjoy their jobs. They checked on us multiple times and made sure we were enjoying it. And after landing we didn't shut up about the whole experience for hours! By far the best thing they've done on their Australia trip and I absolutely loved it too! Don't get me wrong, I was terrified for a bit there, but wow it was so worth it. You cannot put into words how amazing the feeling is! Thankyou geronimo for the unforgettable experience!

Great experience: an awesome adrenaline rush and pure vibes! The only key point of attention is the photos and video package. Apparently, the skydive instructor you get plays a crucial role in the number and quality of the pictures you receive. I only noticed this because we did the dive with two people, and one received significantly more photos (and better ones as well). She was also able to take off her goggles and control the parachute for a while, unlike me. Nevertheless, it was a fantastic experience overall and absolutely worth it!

Amazing experience — can’t recommend it enough! I’m terrified of heights and fully expected to feel sick to my stomach on the day, but that wasn’t the case at all. The team were amazing at making me feel safe and comfortable, allowing me to actually enjoy the experience. I never thought I’d jump out of a plane, and even now, a few days later, it still feels like a dream. Jumping over Rottnest was the best decision — the views of the island and Perth were absolutely stunning and it’s an experience I’ll never forget.

I had an incredible skydiving experience with Geronimo Skydiving at Rottnest Island. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming, and they explained everything clearly, which made me feel completely at ease. I was initially a bit overwhelmed by all the options online and had quite a few questions, so I decided to call and book over the phone. Incredible experience. Professional, safe, and SO much fun. Go on a sunny day, as late in the morning as you can for peak overhead sunny views of the water below. Skydiving over Rotto's blue water and landing on a beach is an incredible experience, plus you get to spend the rest of the day on a gorgeous island. 12/10 recommend

Wow! What an incredible experience! I did a 15,000 foot tandem skydive with Darcy (instructor). He was amazing and made me feel so calm and relaxed. We did 2 back saults, 1 font sault, a couple of "whizzies" and I also got the opportunity to briefly control the chute. Upon landing I just wanted to go straight back up and do it again! I don't usually write reviews but this time I really want to. The whole experience just left me speechless, simply a day I'll never forget. But I really want to thank Kaue (I hope I write it in the right way) for the way he handled the situation, at the beginning I was kind of scared and excited at the same time, he been so friendly and put me comfortable not even after a couple of minutes and that's meant a lot for me. Special mention to Nick who was professional and talked to me the whole time. He constantly let me know what was going to happen which was very reassuring. Personally, i have not jumped with Geronimo. but stick with me! I am a local aviation photographer and i can tell you in 100% confidence, that the Skydive Geronimo team is probably the nicest bunch of people you will ever meet. There have been two times one of the pilots (Sam) have let me have a look at the aircraft, not only is Sam one of the most caring people I've ever met, the skydive crew are also the nicest bunch of people, showing me (someone who's never skydived in my life) the fundamentals of skydiving. Hubby and I went skydiving (15,000 feet) for the first time, for our 15 Yr Wedding Anniversary and his birthday. We skydived over Rottnest Island on his actual birthday. On the day of our jump, Geronimo texted regular updates regarding the weather. The instructors were professional and friendly. No words can describe the feeling of being on the plane, then jumping out and free falling, then cruising on the parachute ride down to the beach. 這是我的第一次嘗試skydiving ,預先在網路上先註冊與booking 跳傘日期與時間！當天，店家車子壞掉、所有行程都往後延，我們的跳傘時間與飛翔時間也有點被壓縮到（這有反應，但希望能改善、大家從事各地來跳傘想要多享受自由飛翔的時間）填寫完資料，等待跳的梯次，然後看教學影片。之後旁邊穿上裝備，後續會有教練幫你check後上飛機。有15Kft與10Kft可以選擇要跳的高度（價錢不同）。如果要拍照，攝影另外加購，櫃檯有價目表。當天的很快就收到照片，影片需要約快一星期工作天兵收到。景色與大海很美，降落在沙灘上是不一樣的體驗，值得。

One of the best experiences in my life. The jump itself feels incredible and is difficult to capture in words. The freefall gives an adrenaline rush; at the same time, the view on Rottnest, the sea, and Perth in the background is unbeatable. The team at Skydive Geronimo was great. Very friendly, lots of fun, and I always felt safe. If you think about skydiving in Western Australia, this is definitely a great place to do it. I would be happy to repeat the experience with them.

Firstly, it was the best experience I've ever had skydiving over rottnest for my very first time. I would like to thank Geronimo for constantly keeping in touch about the weather, what to expect and if i have any questions. The organising for my skydive was superb and very easy. Absolutely highly recommend Skydive Geronimo! This was one of the most incredible and empowering experiences I’ve ever had. I was nervous going in, but the entire crew was amazing — so friendly, professional and made me feel completely safe from start to finish. A huge shout out to my instructor Caue — what an absolute legend! He was calm, reassuring and supportive the whole time, turned my fear into excitement, and made the entire jump unforgettable. He even pointed out a beautiful manta ray during the dive, which made the experience even more surreal. Pushing past my fears and doing it anyway made it that much more powerful. 5 stars for the once-in-a-lifetime experience, the breathtaking views above Rottnest island and that I didn't get any injuries from this. the instructors were friendly and had good energy, and of course, made sure we're safe. shout out to Darcy my tandem instructor and Michelle who dived with us for my video (because I got the Ultimate package). hopefully I spelled their names right. it was crazy amazing how she hung on the side of the plane like Spiderman when I was about to make my jump 😮 I wished I could have found her (camera lens) more during my dive but I was too disoriented 😂 maybe the experience varies, but I wanted to share all the other bits I didn't see people talk about when I read reviews or when I read about skydiving: - when I arrived, I waited for about an hour after check-in. within the hour, they will show u a brief safety video. now it said to cross ur arms when jumping, but later during the actual jump, my instructor stopped me from crossing my arms. bit of a confusion there but I suppose it doesn't really matter overall? - after the intro video, they give you a life vest pouch and help put on your harness. the instructors only arrive minutes before it's time to go on the plane. honestly I thought they would explain the jumping posture or what to do/what not to do. but there was none of that. they just tighten/adjust your harness and then we get on the plane. the only instructions I got were: seconds before the jump, he said to keep my head back. and during the parachute-gliding part, he reminded me to keep my legs straight when we land. - during the jump & the freefall, one thing I didn't expect and wished I knew about beforehand was the intense rush of air(?) that goes into my mouth? honestly that was the worst and only bad part of it. not gonna lie I thought I was going to die of suffocation because it was so overwhelming, felt like an invisible fist of air blocking the passage between my mouth & my windpipe, such that I couldn't scream and wasn't sure if I actually breathed. I wonder why no one talks about this? was it supposed to feel like that? even when I closed my mouth, it felt like the gushing air was gonna tear my nose. I suppose I wouldn't have died because there's enough oxygen in the air but maybe my experience would've been better if I'd known to get some sort of mask.

I had an incredible skydive experience with Geronimo. The entire process was surprisingly quick and seamless. We booked the combined 15,000ft skydive with ferry back and forth to rottnest and the photos only package - would highly recommend doing the same. The staff were professional, rigorous with health and safety checks, and still managed to bring the hype and fun we needed on the day. The views of Rottnest Island from above were breathtaking. Whether you’re a first-timer like myself or experienced diver, this is by far the greatest place to take the leap ;)

It was my first time skydiving and Team Geronimo did a fantastic job. Everything went so smoothly..take off, pre-briefing, wearing the gear, photo video session, landing. Wow! Wanted to get out of the comfort zone. But I was more comfortable and enjoyed the magnificent scenery of Rotto. Keep up the good work!!
