QANTAS Australian Tourism Awards
National Tourism Awards here we come!
On Thursday 15th January we were announced as a finalist for the QANTAS Australian Toursim Awards! Yeehaa!
have been announced as a finalist representing Western Australia at the National following our gold-medal win in the Adventure Tourism category at the WA Tourism Awards in October 2014.
Amy Stutt, Southern Skydivers Marketing Manager, commented “Being an owned and operated WA business, we couldn’t be more proud to progress through to the national round and represent WA at these acclaimed industry awards”. A national panel of judges for the 2014 Qantas Australian Tourism Awards will re-judge the state winners from 2014 and determine the national gold, silver and bronze medalists for each category in April 2015. The presentation ceremony will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 10 April 2015.
This isn’t the only success we have achieved in recent months. Our teams’ excellence in the skies has proved on the ground too with winning not only the state gold medal in the Australian Tourism Awards but also winning the following awards in 2014:
We operate out of WA’s Premier Drop Zone in Busselton and can’t get enough of taking our customers to great heights to see magnificent views of the world renowned Margaret River Wine Region, Busselton, Bunbury and the beautifully scenic South West region of Western Australia.
Being tandem skydiving specialists with a 100% safety record, collectively our small team of instructors have jumped over 42,000 times, whether solo or with a tandem partner.
The Australian Tourism Awards are the tourism industry’s premier tourism awards and most anticipated national event of the year to recognize and celebrate the best in the industry.
